Our primary goal is to prepare children for kindergarten while also offering after-school care for grade school kids, supporting the needs of hardworking families. Job Responsibilities:
Establishing a consistent routine for your assigned children.
Organizing arts and crafts activities.
Leading story time sessions.
Facilitating table time and free play.
Incorporating music and interactive learning activities.
Preparing meals and snacks (food handler certification required).
Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.
Adhering to food guidelines and staying informed about food allergies.
Maintaining basic cleaning and sanitization protocols.
Keeping your workspace tidy during working hours.
Completing end-of-shift cleaning: sanitizing play areas and toys, cleaning the kitchen, and maintaining bathroom hygiene.
(All cleaning duties are shared among staff on duty!)
Qualifications:
Preferred 3+ years of experience in childcare and/or head start programs.
Infant CPR/First Aid certification.
Food handler certification.
Ability to work effectively in a sometimes high-stress environment.
Compensation:
Base pay for this position is $16 per hour, with the potential for higher pay based on experience, certifications and the outcome of the interview process!
